WOW sorry I am just now responding!! It's been a crazy packed day!!!

1- Where are you serving at?

I am serving in an area called Dearborn. They don't let sisters proselyte in Detroit because it is too dangerous. But our area has 2 streets in Detroit and we actually went there the other day! How crazy!! We are the only Sisters that have an area in Detroit- WOAH

2-What is your address? Do I send things to your apartment or to the mission home? I don’t have the mission home address either.

3- Tell me about Sister Watts!

So I actually am in a trio!!

Sister Watts and Sister Leder (sounds like Leader, but spelled this way) are my companions!!

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. They are Halarious!! I seriously have not laughed this much in a long time. Some nights we just laugh about dumb things and dumb jokes and it is so much fun! They are super nice and helpful and I have a blast with them

4- Are you in an apartment, what is it like?

Yep! It is a nice size apt. I will send pictures later

5- How Big is your area?

It is pretty big, although the weird part is that our whole district (4 Elders, 3 sisters) are all in the same ward! Crazy! But that is super fun.

6- Are you in just one ward? If so, what ward?

Dearborn Ward!

7-Tell me about your mission president and mission mom!!

They are soooo nice! There house is super nice and I love Sister Cleveland- she is super nice!! President Cleveland is awesome, he is SUPER into Preach my Gospel and teaching straight from there.

8-What other missionaries have you met?

Just the missionaries that I traveled with and our district! Altough I ran into a missionary who I went to EFY with a couple years ago at transfers!! Crazy! he's been out for a while already, but so cool!!

9- tell me what you do each day...give me an example of a day.

We get up excersie right away (Which is super hard for me because I'm still half asleep!!) then we get ready have breakfast

at 8 we have daily planning. Some days we do all our studies in the morning, or sometimes at night, just depends on the day.

We have to do Companion Study, Language Study (for me), 12 week study (for the first 12 weeks for me), and personal study- all are 1 hour!!

So lots of studying! We then go out and tract!! (usually at night or in the afternoon)

10- How are you doing emotionally? Have you adjusted to the idea of being in Michigan now?

I'm doing good! I haven't cried yet- so thats a good sign! I'm just throwing myself into the work!

11- How are you doing physically? How has your health been?

Yep! all is well, nothing bad yet

12- How have they had you deal with no phone?

I just don't have one, which President said not to worry about it (he doesn't really like the phone thing, because they are such a distraction anyway)

Sister Watts (my trainor and senior companion) has the Sim card. Only one person in the companionship gets a Sim card, so there would be no point for me to get a phone anyway. Plus we have 2 phones- so I'm doing just fine

President said that he wants to get me out to Ecuador ASAP, so he says not to worrying about driving stuff (we have a car btw!) or the phone stuff.

13- How are you emailing today?

So since my area is a campus area (we proselyte on 2 college campus') we get to split our p-day hours. 5 on saturday and 5 on monday. I am at the church right now, using their computer. So on mondays we take 5 hours of p-day to buy food, get gas, clean our car, and come and email.

14- How will p-day work? When will you get to email and for how long?

It is not super clear, since everyone has phones now, but today we scheduled p-day from 1-6, but we had to go grocery shopping and clean the car first so I have about 2 hours left. so I will hurry and try to respond to everyone!! I've honestly been stressed about this all day, but we had to go do the other stuff first!

15- will you see your email more than just at p-day?

Sometimes I ask the other sisters if i can check my email on their phone throughout the week, so I can read them before hand. So yes I can check my email throughout the week

16- Can you use Facebook?

Yes techniquely I can, but I don't really want to, it's too hard to ask the sisters if I can use their phone to check, so I am just not going to use it

17- How you been able to speak or study Spanish at all?

yep I get 1 hour everyday, and I say all my prayers in spanish (even outloud with the sisters) I try to squeeze in some spanish through the day

18- do you want me to send pics or update you on your fellow MTC hermanas?

Yes!! I'm going to email them to make sure I am on their email list too

19- do you need anything? We certainly did not prepare you to serve in Michigan so hopefully you have at least most of what you need!

So far so good! I'm good on stuff!

20- What do you do about your meals? Are you making all of them? Do you need any recipes or anything?

We make our own food! We do have a couple member meals this week! I had my first member meal yesterday so that was cool!!

I'm good on recipes, Sister Cleveland gave us a whole recipe list!!

21- How has the weather been? I’ve heard it may have been raining! Yay for you if this is so :)

Clouding, raining, and humid. It's great I love it!!!!!

Okay sorry if Everything is crazy and doesn't make sense. I have SOOO Much to tell you all and I will try to quickly respond to everything!

a few more extra questions:

1- so if you have a split p-day, what do you do on the other pday? I’m assuming you can’t email on a second day?

We just hang out or go out and do something fun! yeah we are obedient missionaries and just email on one day haha

2- What do you do for exercise? Do you have enough exercise clothes? You sent lots back home...

Idk I am still figuring out how to do that, I'm good on clothes though!

3- where are your companions from?

Both from utah!
