Semana 7: "Born and Raised in South Detroit"

HOLA FAMILIA

It's Hermana Daley here coming to you from Dearborn Michigan!!!!

WOW it has been a crazy past 2 weeks!! Last week we didn't have p-day because we were traveling on wednesday!

So I have lots to tell you so brace yourselves!!!

SO last sunday ( at the MTC) was super sad. It was our last day with our district. We went around taking pictures of all the murals and eachother and just spent the day together! It was SUPER sad saying goodbye the next morning, but it's okay I will see them all again soon.

So wednesday morning I got up at 3 am and got ready to go to the airport!! I traveled with a group of missionaries all going to michigan too. They were all super nice! I got to call mom, dad, jenna, and Dawson, at the airport! That made me cry hahah i also cried on the airplane, but thats okay.

So I got to Michigan and we went to the mission presidents home! It is SUPER nice! We had dinner and interviews! I love my mission presidents so much! They are super sweet and super nice! We spent the night their and that was super cool.

The next morning we went to the church to meet our companions!! So I am actually in a trio!!! Sister Watts (my trainor) and Sister Leder!! They are both soooooo Funny. I love them so much!!! I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. I die every night because they are so funny. it has been AWESOME!!

I am in the Dearborn ward and area. We are also campus sisters so we proselyte on 2 college campus'! Which is super cool! Which means we also get to split our p-days- 5 hours on saturday and 5 on mondays.

So on friday there were 2 miracles!!
We went to the small area in Detroit to tract and that was my first time tracting!! I was super scared! But we came to this one house and the lady answered the door and she hardly spoke any english, only spanish!!! SO I GOT TO PRACTICE SPANISH AND TALK TO HER. WOAH. ON THE FIRST DAY!!! The Lord knows us and will never forget about us!!! He is in the details of our lives!!!

We also met this really cool guy, named Devon. He was super friendly and we talked to him for a while. We are meeting up with him later!! It got me so excited and happy!! I am slowly getting more and more comfortable talking to people!

On saturday we got to go help out at Stewardship Saturday- we dug up plants and planted them in a different area- haha it doesn't make sense, but it was super fun!! It was pouring rain while we did it!! I'll put pictures on the google drive.

Elder Myer, is in my district and he is from HILLSBORO OREGON. He was home schooled but he knows Joseph Poole!! SMALL WORLD

I love it here and I'm loving the missionary life!! I CAN"T BELIEVE IM A REAL MISSIONARY-WOAH CRAZY!!

I love you all so much and I hope I got everything in the email!

Hermana Daley
