Questions from Mom 6/20/18 & extra photos

HEY FAMILIA

So I am in the process of emailing everyone back right now, so Ill send out more stuff later
But for now...

1-  How is the Spanish coming?  Is it super hard?


The spanish is slowly coming! I don't mean to sound arrogant or anything, but people in my district tell me I'm the best one in the class...not so sure about that hahaha, I'm just like only one of the few that consistantly participate in class and can put sentences together pretty fast. I dont know I just think its a combination of me working hard and el don de lenguas! (gift of tongues!)
But I can sort of have a conversation with people! I slowly incorporate spanish words into my everday vocabulary!

2-  How is your district?  If you have time tell me about them!  Where are they from? Did Amy go to BYU?  Who do you get along best with/who is trickiest?


My district is awesome! Most of them are from Utah, one from WA, one from Arizona, and one from Idaho! We have all gotten pretty close! The boys are pretty quiet- but we have gotten them out of their shells and they are all super funny! We have had some hilarious moments hahaha
Also I dont know who Amy is... hahaha And the Hermanas are mostly pretty easy to get along with! there are some moments are things that happen or that they do or say that I dont agree with, but I know to just be patient and loving! Just like Christ would!

3-  In the surprise Father’s Day text you had a picture with 2 other girls.  I know one is going to your mission, how about the other one?  Hermana Schauers (I may have spelled this wrong) is friends with Elder Hoyt who is serving in our ward!!


So yeah! On Sunday we went on a temple walk with our zone! There was a man at the temple (he has a son on a mission) so he knows how exciting it is for parents to get pictures, so he took a pic of us!! I think the other Hermana is Hermana Clark ( I can't remember exactly) She is going to my same mission! and yes! me and Hermana Shauers talked about Elder Hoyt!! Such a small world

6-  Did the new little I-pod have the music you wanted on it?  Do you want to send the other one back?  We could keep trying to gather more music?


Yeah! I'm glad all the girls camp songs were on that one. Honestly the Girls camp songs are my favorite thing to listen to- it gives me a piece of home (so tell Sister Speer Thanks!!!) I LOVE ALL THE SONGS SO MUCH. The grey one doesn't have "my 6th year song" but the purple one does. I'll send a separate email about music

7-  Did you send the thank you note to the Wilkinson’s?  (Did you understand all of that).

Yep! I sent that!

8-  Have you talked about Ecuador at all?  I’m curious if they will give you any “culture classes”.  About what it’s like there etc.

No not really haha maybe closer to when we leave

9-  What do you enjoy most about the MTC? What is the hardest about the MTC?

I love exercise time, we like going out to the feild by the temple ( its nice to be outside the mtc walls) and I like personal study time, and classes! I'm starting to get sick of the food, there are not as many options as the Cannon center has hahah but yeah its okay.
Just learning the language is hard and making sure we are following every rule with exactness

10-  Did you see the email about your Visa?  It came in last Wednesday after you got off email!  I’m guessing that was the one you were waiting for!

yes I did, but there is another email I'm still waiting on, I'll send a separate email explaining that

1- what do you eat for dinner...give examples? Like what did you eat last night? eggs, bread, fruit, I am not usually hungry because lunch is so filling 2-  How does money work?  How much do you get and does it seem like enough? HOLA!!! So today is a lot more chill, we are at the church first and then we are going to go to downtown Detroit!! So pumped! 1.  Have you heard anything about your visa or travel plans? Nope, I think what will happen is I will get contacted the day before I am supposed to leave. So I won't know for the next few weeks propbably haha oh well 2.  Who is Devon?  You mentioned he committed to baptism but want to know the story there... He is just an investigator we have! We haven't been able to teach him since then though :( 3.  Tell me something more about your companions! Uh Sister Leder is gluten free so maybe you could send more granola? ;) hahaha They are super funny and really hardworking! 1.  How are you feeling physically this week? SOOOO MUCH BETTER!!! Im finally feeling like my good old self again!! 2.  How are you feeling emotionally this week? SAME as the first question 3.  How are things with your companion? better, still hard but getting better. She tells me what to do a lot in a rude way but we are getting bettter 4.  When you said last week that your companion attacks you and is sassy, what do you mean...give an example.  (Please keep in mind if your companion is bullying you that it is something you should talk to your mission president about.) no I think it is just the way she talks to me...Dont worry we are getting better, but she just gets angry when I do things wrong or I dont understand. We talk about it everyday haha but we still have fun and laugh together! 5.  So I most likely will be sending you a package in October.  It will go to the mission office and then make its way to you through zone...
