Questions from Mom 8/6/18 & extra photos

HOLA!!! So today is a lot more chill, we are at the church first and then we are going to go to downtown Detroit!! So pumped!

1. Have you heard anything about your visa or travel plans?

Nope, I think what will happen is I will get contacted the day before I am supposed to leave. So I won't know for the next few weeks propbably haha oh well

2. Who is Devon? You mentioned he committed to baptism but want to know the story there...

He is just an investigator we have! We haven't been able to teach him since then though :(

3. Tell me something more about your companions!

Uh Sister Leder is gluten free so maybe you could send more granola? ;) hahaha

They are super funny and really hardworking! I also wrote you a letter mom, but you wont get it until you go home, email me when you see the letter though!

4. What did you do for p-day Saturday?

shopping, cleaned our car, and yeah haha. We try to do the boring stuff on saturday and then do fun stuff on monday!

5. How was the nerf gun war last week?

So fun!! hahhaha I love my district! They are so nerdy and weird and I laugh so much with them hahaha

6. Do you email your mission president each week? Or how does communication with him work?

Yep! we send a weekly email!

7. How is the food? Is it better than the food at the Cannon center?

WAY better. Its all just good old American food. I just eat what I would normally eat at home haha

8. Have you spoken or taught at church yet?

Nope not yet! I did say the closing prayer during sacrament meeting on my first sunday though. In english of course haha

9. You mentioned needing make up but never said for sure or what kind. So, do you need it? If you do, tell me the brand and color. Is the kind Aunt D bought you not great?

yeah I will send a picture. It is the powder that I need. It sucks because the nice liquid bottle I got, exploded. The bottle sucks so that is annoying

10. Hablo espanol?

"Hablo espanol?" means "Do I speak spanish?" So no you don't speak spanish merm hahaha pero Yo hablo espanol haha Yo practico las lecciones en espanol con mi companeras even though they don't know what I am saying hahaha

11. How are holding up mentally & physically? (I’ll probably ask that every week )

Good! No break downs yet! hahah Being in the US is not as mentally draining or stressful haha It still is scary but I don't have to worry about the languge haha

12. Do you need anything?

Besides the makeup, no I think I am good. I kind of what my Book of Mormon that is spirl binded. It should be in my side table. There might be 2 of them in there, one of them got water damaged, so the one that looks newer. I want to keep going in that one and finish highlighting in there

13. Did you like the pasta package? Have you used any of it?

I did like it! But IT EXPLODED HAHAHAAHAH I got the package this morning, they dropped it off at my door in a box because the sauce broke and exploded over everything!! I will send pictures hahah It was sad. We can still use some of it and one of the sauces survived! hahahahahahahhaa

14. What is the best thing to get in the mail as a missionary?

Letters and food and just packages in general!

So here are some pics of the exploding package that came to my doorstep hahha

We washed everything off and put the pasta into different bags

It was so hot and gross MOLD WAS GROWING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE

THERE WAS EVEN MOLD ON THE LETTER

also the 2 cute quotes you sent merm were destroyed :( tear

so sorry about That! Only one of the jars of sauce was broken and had to be thrown away, but everything else we saved!
