A quick email I got from Kelsey from the airport after she finally met up with the mission president!:

Hola mamá!!! I made it to ecuador! My Flight was early so i just waited te amo mucho!!!!!

Hola Familia!! Life is good! I love Michigan it is super hot and humid, but cloudy a lot and sometimes warm rain- hahah prepping me for Ecuador! The work is slow right now, we find lots of people to teach, but all the appointments fall through- sad :( but We keep going and keep looking for people!! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY. It is amazing to put aside all fears and just go talk to random people and share the gospel with them! Even if we can't teach them a full lesson we can touch them with the light of Christ! This past week we had exchanges with the sister training leader! It was fun to learn from her and see how other missionaries work and how other areas are! We do a lot of gas station contacting, where we stop at gas stations, pretending to get gas and talk to people there! It was funny I was getting pumped listening to a song in the car before (because it was my turn to talk) and when I got out of the car I was very enthusiastic about it and said to this one guy ...

Semana 7: "Born and Raised in South Detroit"

HOLA FAMILIA It's Hermana Daley here coming to you from Dearborn Michigan!!!! WOW it has been a crazy past 2 weeks!! Last week we didn't have p-day because we were traveling on wednesday! So I have lots to tell you so brace yourselves!!! SO last sunday ( at the MTC) was super sad. It was our last day with our district. We went around taking pictures of all the murals and eachother and just spent the day together! It was SUPER sad saying goodbye the next morning, but it's okay I will see them all again soon.  So wednesday morning I got up at 3 am and got ready to go to the airport!! I traveled with a group of missionaries all going to michigan too. They were all super nice! I got to call mom, dad, jenna, and Dawson, at the airport! That made me cry hahah i also cried on the airplane, but thats okay.  So I got to Michigan and we went to the mission presidents home! It is SUPER nice! We had dinner and interviews! HOLA FAMILIA  WOW sorry I am just now responding!! It's been a crazy packed day!!! 1- Where are you serving at? I am serving in an area called Dearborn. They don't let sisters proselyte in Detroit because it is too dangerous. But our area has 2 streets in Detroit and we actually went there the other day! How crazy!! We are the only Sisters that have an area in Detroit- WOAH 2-What is your address?  Do I send things to your apartment or to the mission home?  I don’t have the mission home address either. here is my apartment address: 27209 Yorkshire Square #108  Dearborn Heights, MI 48127 Or  Mission office: 23190 W. 9 Mile Rd Southfield, MI 48033 Either works! 3-  Tell me about Sister Watts!
