Semana 3
woah
what a crazy week!!!!!! These past two weeks have been the hardest weeks of my
mission. First I was really sick and then I got really homesick and had pretty
bad anxiety for a week. I think it is everything. The new culture and the new
language and just everything!!
BUT
This is what I wanted. I wanted it to be hard so that I could change and become
a better person. I wanted the trials. That is how we grow!!
This
is what I learned this past week:
-How
to COMPLETLY rely on the Lord. We need to fall to our knees and beg for his
help
-I
learned that I am weak and I can only do things through Christ. Christ makes me
strong
-There
truly is peace in Christ
-My
spanish is trash and I cant understand anyone, so I have to rely on Christ in
order to teach people
-I
LOVE MY HEAVENLY FATHER SO MUCH
-
everything I do here on the mission is for HIM
I
Hope you can all apply these things to your life! If you are struggling please
turn to the scriptures and to prayer. That is the BEST way to find comfort. I
have such a strong testimony of the book of mormon. It can help us so much in
our lives.
Okay
a few fun things:
-There
are TONS of mosquitos and it is really annoying hahahah I have started wearing
pants more often to help hahaha
- I
am ALWAYS SWEATING hahahahaha its so hot all the time and there is no AC only
at the Church. so yeah I am slowly mealting away. Ive stopped wearing makeup
because I just sweat it off
-We
are teaching so many people- IT IS AWESOME
- I
love being out and about talking to people- I LOVE THE PEOPLE OF ECUADOR
Here
are some scriptures that helped me this week
