SEMANA 11: Milagros!!
HOLA!
MY VISA CAME!!!!!!
I'M
HEADED TO ECUADOR NEXT MONDAY!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I"M SO PUMPED
Funny Stuff:
- So when we have district meeting
after we pray we stand up and say
1. The missionary purpose
2. The Michigan Detroit Mission
purpose
3. Then we end with the Dearbon
District:
"And in the Dearborn District
we go on really long tangents, never stay on topic, have daily contact, and are
EXACTLY obedient" hahahahahahhahaha
#RIPtheDearbornDistrict
- Every day me and Sister Watts walk
out of the door for the day we say:
"We fear NO man" -Sister
watts
"And Satan fears us!"
-Me
hahah its our little motivation for
the day so we don't have any fear when talking to people
Miracles:
1. On wednesday the day was coming
to a close and we were out trying to find people to teach. We had a little bit
of time left and we were not sure what to do next. The spirit told me to visit
this one lady we met at the store. So we drove to her house and her
granddaughter (who lives with her) was outside on the phone, we talked to her
for a little bit and then went inside to talk to Patrica (the old lady we met
at the store) she was too tired for a lesson, but her granddaughter, Jennifer
was super nice and told us to come back later, we also told her a little bit
about the church and she seemed super interested! So hopefully we can teach
them more!
2. On thursday we were trying to
decide what to do for contacting today, and after we prayed Sister watts
suggested calling formers. So we sat in the car and we called 2 people- both
didn't answer then the 3rd person we called picked up the phone and he was like
yeah sure, I have time right now! So we got his address and drove over
and taught him a mini lesson about the BOM! It was crazy spontaneous and
we have another appointment later to go teach him more! Miracle!! The spirit
definitely guided us to him!!
Spiritual:
- I was reading in Alma and I came
across an awesome scripture- Alma 17:11 it is all about being patient during
trails.
Trials are hard but are necessary
for our growth. It was not easy for Christ to suffer for our sins so our lives
won't be easy. Salvation was not easy.
It is all about our attitudes and
how we face this life. We can do all things through Christ!!
Challenge:
I challenge all of you to make a
"happiness jar" (The Relief Society in my ward are doing this for an
activity"
Make a cute jar and each day write
on a small piece of paper what made you happy that day. In a year you will have
100s of things that made you happy!
I love you all so much and I'm so
grateful for each and everyone of you!
Keep your light shining bright for
all to see!!
