Semana 2 in DETROIT

HOLA!!

Week 2 in Detroit!! I think I forgot to mention but I am with English sisters, so not much spanish going on, but thats okay! I have time to study it during the day!!

Hope all is well back at home, today is nutz-o so Im sorry if I don't have time to respond to all your emails individually!! We have district activity today- nerf gun war!!! and then the YSA FHE and then we are going on exchanges tomorrow!!

So this past week we had an awesome lesson with Devon and he committed to baptism!! We haven't been able to meet with him since then but hopefully we can soon!!

We had a lot of member dinners this week! One member served her mission in Chile so I talked to her in Spanish! The members are awesome!! 

Overall it's been super great! I'm loving my companions and I'm loving growing and becoming a better missionary! It's been awesome being an English missionary and learning how everything works! Hopefully it will all translate over to being a Spanish missionary! But yes I love Detroit!!! It's the BEST


Challenge:
I have been re-reading the Book of Mormon and I have been learning so much! Nephi and Lehi are perfect examples of obedience. They left their life to follow God's commandments and journey into the wilderness! Crazy! That takes so much faith! It reminds me of a mission! One thing we try and work on everyday is exact Obedience, we try everyday to follow the rules even more so that we can be effective missionaries! I challange all of you to try a little harder to be a little better! Obedience brings blessings!!

1- what do you eat for dinner...give examples? HOLA!!! So today is a lot more chill, we are at the church first and then we are going to go to downtown Detroit!! So pumped! 1.  Have you heard anything about your visa or travel plans? Nope, I think what will happen is I will get contacted the day before I am supposed to leave. So I won't know for the next few weeks propbably haha oh well 2.  Who is Devon?  You mentioned he committed to baptism but want to know the story there... He is just an investigator we have! We haven't been able to teach him since then though :( 3.  Tell me something more about your companions! 1.  How are you feeling physically this week? SOOOO MUCH BETTER!!! Im finally feeling like my good old self again!! 2.  How are you feeling emotionally this week? SAME as the first question 3.  How are things with your companion? better, still hard but getting better. She tells me what to do a lot in a rude way but we are getting bettter 4.  When you said last week that your companion attacks you and is sassy, what do you mean...give an example.  (Please keep in mind if your companion is bullying you that it is something you should talk to your mission president about.) no I think it is just the way she talks to me...Dont worry we are getting better, but she just gets angry when I do things wrong or I dont understand.
